PROJECT MANAGER:

Reporting to the Vice-president of Construction, the PM is responsible for the coordination of all aspects of a typical project. The PM will be responsible for one or more larger projects and various nearby smaller projects. The PM will coordinate the activities and schedules of suppliers and subcontractors, assist field staff in the interpretation of the contract, detail and enforce safe work procedures, develop and update project schedules, coordinate USL forces and equipment. The PM will prepare or coordinate all activities required by the owner including schedules, shop drawings, methods of construction, samples, procedures, payment certificates and contract negotiations. Depending on past experience a Project Manager will also bid projects of various sizes under the direction of the Manager of Structures.
Candidates are expected to have a relevant university college education, 5 years or more relevant experience, strong computer skills, good communication skills and, strong planning and organizational skills

Reporting to a Project Manager or the Vice-president of Construction the PC is responsible for the coordination of all aspects of a typical project. The PC will work under the supervision of a senior PM or the VP and is responsible for one or more medium and nearby smaller sized projects. The PC will coordinate the activities and schedules of suppliers and subcontractors, assist field staff in the interpretation of the contract, detail and enforce safe work procedures, develop and update project schedules, coordinate USL forces and equipment. The PC will prepare or coordinate all submissions required by the owner including schedules, shop drawings, methods of construction, samples and procedures.
Candidates are expected to have a relevant college education, 2 years or more relevant experience, strong computer skills, good communication skills and, strong planning and organizational skills

Reporting to a senior superintendent or the Vice-president of Construction, a supervisor is responsible for the construction of all aspects of a typical project. Generally a supervisor will work under the supervision of a senior superintendent or the VP and is responsible for one or more medium sized projects and nearby smaller projects. The supervisor working with the Project Coordinator will schedule and coordinate various USL forces, equipment, suppliers and subcontractors. The supervisor working with the foremen will provide guidance on construction methods, equipment usage, safe work procedures and contract interpretation. The supervisor is directly responsible for the timely, productive and safe completion of the projects he/she is assigned to.
Candidates are expected to have 3 to 5 years relevant experience, good communication skills, strong planning and organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure and the ability to effectively direct and motivate field staff.

The successful candidate will report directly to our Maintenance Manager and will be instrumental to the success of our Bolton Repair Facility by ensuring that we are providing a high level of service to our Field Operations Group with quality equipment. Responsibilities will include troubleshooting, servicing and performing all repairs on diesel and gasoline powered equipment at our facility and at job sites throughout Ontario. Our varied fleet includes cranes (up to 80 ton), excavators, back hoes, boom lifts, scissor lifts, skid steers, heaters, generators, compressors, aerial equipment, small gasoline powered equipment and much more.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate should have 5 years of related experience working on a variety of diesel, gasoline, hydraulic and electrical systems and be comfortable working outdoors in any weather. Previous experience working as a Mechanic in the construction industry or equipment rental is an asset. You must have strong trouble shooting experience and be accustomed to working independently as well as part of a cohesive team. Candidates should at a minimum hold a high school diploma, and have a minimum of 5 years experience with Aerial / Construction Equipment. Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
